Where is tin used--or where does it impact our everyday lives?

 

Used for coating the surface of iron food cans--to resist corrosion

 

 

Pewter is an alloy of tin--at least 85 % tin.  Pewter also contains copper, antimony, bismuth, and in this historic sample, lead--seen at Hampton Court Palace, Surrey, UK
